Pain is an emergency alert signal from the body that lets us know something is wrong and needs to be addressed by a healthcare professional. But what happens if the issue is permanent or when the issue has been resolved but the pain still persists. Sometimes that blaring emergency pain signal becomes habituated and can't be turned off. When the pain becomes long-term (chronic), people find themselves trapped in a situation that becomes overwhelming. Anger, fear, frustration, depression and hopelessness takes over. Feelings of self-worth and self-image plummet, relationships may begin to suffer, and sometimes finances take a nose dive due to the inability to work. Activities that you once enjoyed are no longer possible.

The good news is that the power of your mind through the use of hypnosis and some powerful NLP techniques have been proven to reduce pain levels and the psychological side effects that accompany it. It's well known and documented that stress, depression, anxiety and other worsening changes in mood or behavior can increase pain levels, creating an endless loop of pain. What if you can learn to ignore the pain? Not think about it? Put it aside? Hypnosis helps to break this cycle, keeping the pain signals down to a low level and eliminating the negative feelings associated to it. In addition, positive feelings of contentment, happiness, joy, calm, self-esteem and hopefulness are reinforced -- and a new belief system is created.  I know from personal experience that this works!

Hypnotherapy for any health related issue requires a doctor's medical release.

Did you know that stress and anxiety actually work against you by lowering your immune system and resistance to pain? And, according to the Arthritis Foundation, studies show that more than 75% of people with arthritis and related diseases experience significant pain relief using hypnosis. Let's work together to help you achieve the best possible outcome for your particular  issue.

PAIN MANAGEMENT

Pain is the most common reason for physician consultation in the United States. It's a major symptom in many health conditions and can significantly interfere with a person's quality of life, self-esteem and interaction with others. For chronic pain, hypnosis is one of the most effective, non-invasive and natural ways to achieve incredible results in managing and reducing pain levels.

Let's face it, no one looks forward to having surgery. No matter what it's for, required or elective, surgery brings up feelings of fear, apprehension and anxiety. Your doctor has prepared for your surgery, why not do the same for yourself?

Picture yourself checking into the hospital/surgery center relaxed and calm. Your pre-surgery preparations go so smoothly. Once in the OR, your body is working in harmony with the surgeon and medical team. You are blocked to all negative talk/gossip in the surgery suite. After surgery, you experience less pain, nausea and overall discomfort. You're recovering faster than the doctor anticipated. This is what we hope to achieve with hypnosis.

Scientifically speaking, the medical benefits of pre-surgery hypnosis have been the subject of numerous scientific studies and clinical trials. From major medical centers, universities and HMOs throughout the United States to a host of well respected medical centers around the world, the results are consistently the same: Hypnosis before surgery is a powerful tool.

So what does the American Medical Association have to say about hypnosis?
Many people and doctors aren't aware that it's been approved by the AMA since 1958.
